Best Thing About Winter Fashion

My favorite thing about winter fashion is most definitely the boots. Boots are so incredibly versatile, you can wear them with just about anything. My personal favorite right now is skinny jeans and fur-trimmed boots. It is probably the hottest trend right now, everyone is wearing them paired together. Another big trend this winter with boots has been the flat or motorcycle boot. I love the motorcycle boot, which gives a “bad girl” edge to just about any outfit. My true love as far as boots go will always be stiletto boots with a skirt, you can wear it so many ways for so many different looks. That and one of my favorite movies has always been “Pretty Woman.” Thank you Julia you blew up one of my favorite shoe looks. Even though I don’t think I would ever wear any that go thigh high lol. The boots featured in the picture are “Cava” OTK Boot with Fur-Trim by Manolo Blahnik. They are also in my opinion one of the hottest pairs on the planet. The “ocelot fur” is actually dyed goat fur, so don’t stress no endangered animals were harmed in the creation of this fashion masterpiece. “Clean” Makeup

This is probabally my most used make up look. I love the “Naked Face” or “clean” look. First of all it is incredibly easy to apply, and secondly all it does is enhance what you already have. It’s very minimal and can be applied in a matter of only a few minutes. The first step is as always to apply your moisturizer to your face and let it dry completely. Always choose a good moisturizer or primer with at least spf 15 or 20. Your face is truly your most important asset, so you have to take good care of it. Secondly, apply your foundation. When applying foundation, only put on enough to cover small flaws and even out your complexion. Third apply a good cream blush to the apples of your cheeks using your finger. Don’t apply too much, you want it to look natural, just give yourself a light glow. After you use the same blush and apply to your eyelids instead of shadow. Finish with either a clear gloss or one that closely matches your natural lip color. For night wear add a light touch of eyeliner and some mascara. Products I recommend for this look are all by MAC cosmetics, and they are Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation for $26, Blushcreme I like the color “Britwit” and its only $18.50, and finish up with Clear lipglass for $14. The price may seem high for just some make up, but MAC has excellent pigments and you only need a small amount so it will really last. These three items can also be used in other looks as well, so definitely a worthy investment.

The Little Black Dress is the epitome of functional fashion, designed to flatter almost any figure, it can be paired with a variety of accessories to give it any kind of edge or style. For that reason the “Little Black Dress” is number one on the Basics List.
